Achieving responsible motherhood or fatherhood is a constant challenge that requires the development of personal skills, reflection on parenting styles and problem solving in different contexts. The family environment determines the integral development and in particular the emotional one. The need to learn to be a mom or a dad is becoming more evident every day. Six out of every 10 minors in Mexico live mistreatment in their families, attributed to lack of preparation of the parents, which affects their school performance and mental health.
The Parenting Challenge program is divided into age groups. It focuses on the development of life skills; first for parents, as individuals, and later to facilitate affectionate, direct and clear communication with their children. The objectives seek to promote: the parent-child relationship, comprehensive development, health care and risk prevention at different stages of training from birth to adolescence, among others.
