Today November 22 we celebrate International Musician Day as a day to congratulate all musicians.
But where did this holiday come from?
In 1594 Santa Cecilia was named Patroness of Music by Pope Gregory XIII. Since then, every November 22 (date of his death) in different parts of the world musicians gather to celebrate.
